Angie Slaughter is a VP of Sustainability, Logistics, SVC and Capabilities Procurement at Anheuser-Busch. During Angie’s time with the company – spanning over 20 years – she has held several roles within operations and procurement dedicated to driving transformational change to ensure Anheuser-Busch remains an industry-leader in sustainability. Angie received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois and is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Managing Director, CohnReznick Capital

Gary is a Managing Director with CohnReznick Capital and is based in the New York office. He provides transaction management and advisory services for clients in the sustainable energy sector, including corporate M&A, capital raises, and structured finance solutions for wind and solar projects.

Gary was previously a Senior Vice President at GE Energy Financial Services where he led deal teams in the structuring, diligence, and negotiation of investments in renewable energy projects in the US and Canada.  While at EFS he closed equity investments in over 2,000MW of utility-scale and C&I wind and solar projects, including tax equity, cash equity, and sale lease-back transactions.  Prior to GE EFS, Gary worked at Standard & Poor’s developing models used by commercial banks for assessing the credit risk of C&I companies. 

Earlier in his career, Gary served as an officer in the United States Navy where he supervised the operation of the nuclear reactor plants on an aircraft carrier and taught college-level classes to university students enrolled in the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Gary is a CFA charter holder and earned an MBA from Villanova University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with Highest Honors from the University of Florida.

Erik has eleven years of experience in the energy industry. He's been with Apex Clean Energy since 2015 and leads offtake origination, commercial structuring, negotiations and transactions with corporate purchasers of renewable energy. Since joining Apex, Erik has successfully built relationships with dozens of leading corporations, universities, and cities resulting in the execution of more than two gigawatts of power purchase agreements to support utility scale wind and solar projects in the United States. Previously, Erik had positions as an exploration and development geologist, as well as commercial advisor for ExxonMobil with responsibilities for market analysis, negotiations and transactions, and commercial business intelligence. Erik holds a B.S. in geology with environmental concentration from the College of William and Mary and an M.S. in geosciences from Virginia Tech. His research on landscape evolution driven by hyper-arid climate is published in the journal Geomorphology.

Anton Cohen, CPA, is a partner with CohnReznick and serves as the National Director of the Firm’s Renewable Energy Industry Practice. He has more than 20 years of experience servicing closely held and publicly traded clients in a variety of industries, including energy, corporate and public tax credit funds, technology, distribution, and manufacturing. He is experienced in private and public equity and debt offerings, capital structuring, and general business management. Anton’s audit, tax, and business advisory services cover a wide spectrum of clients from start-up entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. 

Anton is responsible for planning and supervising all aspects of a variety of engagements, which range from audit, tax, and accounting services to strategic and operational issue identification and resolution. Anton has also assisted clients with the conversion of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and has prepared financial statements under IFRS. 

For the past eight years, Anton has been solely focused on building the Firm’s Renewable Energy Industry Practice. His experience in renewables spans a wide range of technologies, including solar, wind, and biomass. He currently audits energy companies, funds and projects, providing both GAAP and IFRS consulting. Anton has also been advising renewable energy companies on the accounting impact from various complex tax equity structures including partnership flips, sales lease and numerous other structures.

Ravi is the head of solar research at Wood Mackenzie, where he focuses on solar-plus-storage, solar integration on the grid and related power markets issues. Prior to his current role, he was the head of Wood Mackenzie’s energy storage research practice and covered global storage markets and value chain analysis. As an industry expert, Ravi has been quoted in various publications including New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Forbes, Bloomberg, National Public Radio, BBC, Christian Science Monitor, Wired, and Verge. Ravi has over 10 years of experience in renewables as a consultant, analyst and engineer. Ravi holds a Master of International Business degree from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering degree from University of Washington, Seattle and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India.
